HM The Queen has appointed Jonathan Michael Richards to be a Salaried Judge of the Upper Tribunal, assigned to the Tax and Chancery Chamber, on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, The Right Honourable David Gauke MP. He will take up post from 11 June 2018.

Jonathan Michael Richards, aged 46, will be known as Upper Tribunal Judge Richards. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1997. He was appointed as a Salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Tax Chamber in 2015.
