The Queen has appointed Catherine Francesca Rosalind Burton to be a Judge of the Insolvency and Companies Court on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to serve in the Royal Courts of Justice with effect from 18 December 2018.

Notes to editors

Catherine Francesca Rosalind Burton, aged 53, will be known as Insolvency and Companies Court Judge Burton. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1991.
