Appointment of a Regional Employment Judge: Pirani

The Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP, will appoint Employment Judge Rohan Carl Pirani as a Regional Employment Judge with effect from 1 August 2018.

Employment Judge Pirani will now take on the temporary role of Acting Regional Employment Judge with immediate effect, until his permanent appointment takes effect. He has been deployed to the South West region, based at Bristol.

Employment Judge Rohan Carl Pirani, aged 48, was called to the Bar (M) in 1995. He was appointed as Fee-paid Chairman of the Employment Tribunals (now known as Fee-paid Employment Judge) in 2005 and as a Salaried Employment Judge in 2013. He also became Deputy Chair of the Central Arbitration Committee in July 2016.
