Appointment of a District Judge: Taylor

The Queen has appointed Christopher John Taylor to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Western Circuit, based at Gloucester and Cheltenham County Court and Family Court with effect from 29 October 2018.

Notes to editors

Christopher John Taylor, aged 58, will be known as District Judge Christopher Taylor. He was called to the Bar (G) in 1982. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2004.
