Appointment of a Salaried Judge of the Upper Tribunal, Administrative Appeals Chamber: Knowles QC

HM The Queen has appointed Gwynneth Frances Knowles QC to be a Salaried Judge of the Upper Tribunal, assigned to the Administrative Appeals Chamber, on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP. She will take up post witheffect from 28 July 2014.

Gwynneth Frances Knowles QC, aged 51, will be known as Upper Tribunal Judge Knowles QC. She was called to the Bar (G) in 1993 and took Silk in 2011. She was appointed as a Fee-paid Legal Member of the Mental Health Review Tribunal in 2007 (becoming Fee-paid Tribunal Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Health Education and Social Care Chamber, in 2008).
