Appointment of Resident Judges
The Lord Chief Justice is pleased to announce, following Expressions of Interest exercises, the appointment of four Resident Judges.
HHJ Nicholas Barker has been appointed as the Resident Judge at Carlisle Combined Court with effect from 8 February 2022.
HHJ Mark Bishop has been appointed as Resident Judge for Cambridge & Peterborough with effect from 7 March 2022.
HHJ Sally Hancox has been appointed as the Resident Judge at Stoke on Trent Combined Court with effect from 1 March 2022.
HHJ Simon Hirst has been appointed as the Resident Judge at Lincoln Crown Court with effect from 21 July 2022.
