Circuit Bench Retirement: Trigger

His Honour Judge Ian James Campbell Trigger retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 3 August 2014.

His Honour Judge Trigger (70) was called to the Bar (I) in 1970. He was appointed an Assistant Recorder in 1986, a Legal Panel Member of the Medical Appeal Tribunals in 1989, a Recorder in 1990 and a Circuit Judge in 1993. He was appointed a Legal Member of the Mental Health Review in 1994 (now known as Judge of the First Tier Tribunal (Health, Education and Social Care Chamber)), Legal Member of the Immigration Appeals Tribunal in 1998 and part-time Immigration Judge of the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal.
