Circuit Bench Retirement: Wood

His Honour Judge William Rowley Wood retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 4 January 2019.

Notes to editors 

His Honour Judge Wood (70) was called to the Bar in 1970 and took Silk in 1997. He was appointed a Recorder in 1990 and a Circuit Judge in 2002. He was a Tutor Judge and Committee Member (2003 Reform programme) at the Judicial Studies Board (now Judicial College) from 2002 to 2008. He was appointed the Resident Judge for Chichester Combined Court from 2008 to 2014.
