The Queen has appointed Andrew Robert Hurst to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Basildon Crown Court with effect from 1st April 2019.

Andrew Robert Hurst, aged 54 will be known as His Honour Judge Andrew Hurst. He was called to the Bar (I) in 1992. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2009.
