Circuit Judge Appointment: Burrows

The Queen has appointed Simon Paul Burrows to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Northern Circuit, based at Preston Family Court with effect from 26 October 2020.

Background Information:

Simon Paul Burrows, aged 53, will be known as His Honour Judge Burrows. He was called to the Bar (I) in 1990. He was appointed as a fee paid Tribunal Judge in 2003.
