The Queen has appointed Edward Samuel Connell to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Isleworth Crown Court with effect from 23 April 2019.

Edward Samuel Connell, aged 47 will be known as His Honour Judge Connell. He was called to the Bar (M) in 1996. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2009.
