Circuit Judge Appointment: Crane

The Queen has appointed Rebecca Jean Crane to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Midland Circuit, based at Northampton Crown Court with effect from 11 March 2019

Notes to editors

Rebecca Jean Crane, aged 46 will be known as Her Honour Judge Crane. She was called to the Bar (G) in 1998. She was appointed as both a Recorder and a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates Court) in 2009, and as a District Judge (Magistrates Court) in 2011.
