Circuit Judge Appointment: Crowley

 

The Queen has appointed David Edward Crowley to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Wales Circuit, based at Newport Civil and Family Court with effect from 23 March 2020.

David Edward Crowley, aged 64, will be known as His Honour Judge David Crowley. He was called to the Roll in 1982. He was appointed as a District Judge in 2008, as a Deputy District Judge in 2003 and as Fee-paid Member of the First-tier Tribunal in 2002.
