The Queen has appointed Celia Anne Dawson to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern circuit, based at Ipswich and Norwich Combined Court with effect from 5 March 2018.

Celia Anne Dawson, aged 58, will be known as Her Honour Judge Celia Dawson. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1985. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) in 2000, as a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) in 2004 and as a Recorder in 2016.
