The Queen has appointed David Alexander Evans to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Elizabeth Truss MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Western Circuit, based at Taunton Crown Court with effect from 27 October 2016.

David Alexander Evans, aged 45 will be known as His Honour Judge Evans. He was called to the Bar (G) in 1996. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2012.
