The Queen has appointed Philip John Grey to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at St Albans Crown Court, with effect from 5 March 2018.

Philip John Grey, aged 45 will be known as His Honour Judge Grey. He was called to the Bar (G) in 1996. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2016.
