The Queen has appointed Sally-Ann Hales QC to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Woolwich Crown Court with effect from 8 May 2018.

Sally-Ann Hales QC, aged 52 will be known as Her Honour Judge Hales QC. She was called to the Bar (G) in 1988 and took Silk in 2012. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2009.
