The Queen has appointed Sally Elizabeth Hancox to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Midland Circuit, based at Birmingham Crown Court, with effect from 22 January 2018.

Sally Elizabeth Hancox, aged 45, will be known as Her Honour Judge Hancox. She was called to the Bar (L) in 1996. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2009.
