Circuit Judge Appointment: Lethem

The Queen has appointed Christopher John Lethem to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at the Central London County Court with effect from 27 May 2019.

Notes to editors

Christopher John Lethem, aged 64 will be known as His Honour Judge Lethem. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1981. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 1993 and as a District Judge in 1998.
