Circuit Judge Appointment: Lockhart QC

The Queen has appointed Andrew William Jardine Lockhart QC to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP.

The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has deployed him tothe Midland Circuit, based at Warwickshire Justice Centre and Wolverhampton Combined Court witheffect from 20 October 2014.

Andrew William Jardine Lockhart QC, aged 51, will be known as His Honour Judge Lockhart QC. He was called to the Bar (L) in 1991 and took Silk in 2010. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2005.
