Circuit Judge Appointment: Lusty

The Queen has appointed Helen Judith Lusty to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based within Sussex and Surrey with effect from 1 April 2019.

Notes to editors

Helen Judith Lusty, aged 46 will be known as Her Honour Judge Lusty. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1997. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2005, and as a District Judge in 2012.
