Circuit Judge Appointment: Lynch QC

The Queen has appointed Patricia Lynch QC to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP.

The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has deployed her tothe South Eastern Circuit, based at Chelmsford Crown Court with effect from 26 June 2014.

Notes to editors

Patricia Lynch QC, aged 62, will be known as Her Honour Judge Patricia Lynch QC. She was called to the Bar (I) in 1979 and took Silk in 1998. She was appointed as an Assistant Recorder in 1997 and as a Recorder in 2000.
