Circuit Judge Appointment: McPhee

The Queen has appointed Robin Alasdair McPhee to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Watford County Court and Family Court with effect from 1 April 2019.

Robin Alasdair McPhee, aged 60 will be known as His Honour Judge McPhee. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1983. He was appointed as an acting stipendiary Magistrate in 1998, as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates Court) 2000 and a District Judge (Magistrates Court) in 2002.
