Circuit Judge Appointment: Nicola Jones

The Queen has appointed Nicola Jones to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Wales Circuit, based at Cardiff Crown Court with effect from 25 February 2019.

Notes to editors

Nicola Jones, aged 49 will be known as Her Honour Judge Nicola Jones. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1992. She was appointed as an Assistant Coroner in 2000 and as a fee-paid Legal Member of the Mental Health Review Tribunal for Wales in 2014.
