Circuit Judge Appointment: Oliver Jones

The Queen has appointed Oliver Egerton Jones to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based within the London Courts with effect from 18th March 2019.

Notes to editors

Oliver Egerton Jones, aged 42 will be known as His Honour Judge Oliver Jones. He was called to the Bar (I) in 1998. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2016.
