The Queen has appointed Alexander Julius Ralton (known as Alex) to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Western Circuit, based at Bristol Civil Justice Centre with effect from 9 April 2018.

Alexander Julius Ralton, aged 50, will be known as His Honour Judge Ralton. He was called to the Bar (L) in 1990. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2005, as a District Judge in 2009 and as a Recorder in 2016.
