Circuit Judge Appointment: Rhiannon Davies

The Queen has appointed Rhiannon Laura Davies to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Midland Circuit, based at Stoke-on-Trent Combined Court and Derby Combined Court with effect from 4 March 2019.

Rhiannon Laura Davies, aged 39 will be known as Her Honour Judge Rhiannon Davies. She was called to the Bar (G) in 2001. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010, and as both a Recorder and a District Judge in 2016.
