Circuit Judge Appointment: Richard Clarke

The Queen has appointed Richard Thomas Edward Clarke to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of The Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.  

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Slough County Court with effect from 4 November 2019.

Richard Thomas Edward Clarke aged 51 will be known as His Honour Judge Richard Clarke. He was called to the Bar (I) in 1992 and was admitted as a Solicitor in 1997. He was appointed as Deputy District Judge in 2003 and as a District Judge in 2012.
