Circuit Judge Appointment: Scully

The Queen has appointed Jennifer Lesley Scully to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Newcastle Combined Court with effect from 11 March 2019.

Notes to editors 

Jennifer Lesley Scully, aged 51 will be known as Her Honour Judge Scully. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1997 and called to the Bar (M) in 2006. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2015.
