Circuit Judge Appointment: Steven Evans

The Queen has appointed Steven David Evans to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Luton Crown Court with effect from 11 March 2019.

Steven David Evans, aged 59 will be known as His Honour Judge Steven Evans. He was called to the Bar (M) in 1997. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2009 and a Fee-Paid Tribunal Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Health, Education and Social Care Chamber (Restricted Patients Panel) in 2018.
