District Judge Appointment: Tully

The Queen has appointed Vanessa Elizabeth Tully to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Northern Circuit, based at Preston County Court with effect from 12 October 2020.

Background Information

Vanessa Elizabeth Tully, aged 51, will be known as District Judge Tully. She was admitted to the Roll in 1993. She was appointed as a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber in 2006, and as a Deputy District Judge in 2019.
