Circuit Judge Appointment: Wall

The Queen has appointed Tribunal Judge Carmel Miriam Wall to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Michael Gove MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Midland Circuit, based at Birmingham Civil and Family Justice Centre with effect from 26 October 2015.

Tribunal Judge Carmel Miriam Wall, aged 51, will be known as Her Honour Judge Carmel Wall. She was called to the Bar (L) in 1986. She was appointed as a Fee-paid Tribunal Judge of the First-tier Social Entitlement Chamber in 2001, as a Deputy District Judge in 2006, as a Recorder in 2009 and then as a Salaried Tribunal Judge of the First-tier Social Entitlement Chamber also in 2009.
