Circuit Judge Appointment: Whybrow

The Queen has appointed Jonathan Christopher Whybrow to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Sheffield Combined Court Centre with effect from 29 April 2019.

Notes to editors

Jonathan Christopher Whybrow, aged 59 will be known as His Honour Judge Whybrow. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1991. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2007 and as a District Judge in 2012.
