Circuit Judge Appointment: Wigin

The Queen has appointed Caroline Rosemary Wigin to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at St Albans Crown Court with effect from 11 March 2019.

Caroline Rosemary Wigin, aged 57 will be known as Her Honour Judge Wigin. She was called to the Bar (I) in 1984. She was appointed as a Fee-paid Tribunal Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber in 1999, and as a Recorder in 2005.
