The Queen has appointed David Willans to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern circuit, based at West London Family Court with effect from 23 March 2018.

David Willans, aged 48, will be known as His Honour Judge Willans. He was called to the Bar (L) in 1995. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2007 and a District Judge in 2013.
