Circuit Judge at the Central Criminal Court Appointment: Lickley QC

The Queen has appointed Nigel James Dominic Lickley QC to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to sit on the South Eastern Circuit, based at the Central Criminal Court with effect from 10 December 2018.

Notes to editors

 Nigel James Dominic Lickley QC, aged 58, will be known as His Honour Judge Lickley QC. He was called to the Bar (G) in 1983 and took Silk in 2006. He was appointed as an Assistant Recorder in 1998, a Recorder in 2000 and as a Deputy High Court Judge in 2018.
