Circuit Judge: Death in service


The Lord Chief Justice, Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, and the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP, were saddened to learn of the death of His Honour Judge John Dixon on 11 August 2014.

John Watts Dixon (62) was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1975. He was appointed as a Circuit Judge in April 2004, having served as an Assistant Recorder since 1998 and Recorder since 2000.
