Circuit Judge: Hedley

The Queen has appointed Richard Philip Hedley to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Lidington MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Midland Circuit, based at Leicester County Court and Lincoln County Court with effect from 22 January 2018.

Notes to editors

Richard Philip Hedley, aged 57, will be known as His Honour Judge Hedley. He was called to the Bar (M) in 1983. He was appointed as a District Judge in 2012.
