The Queen has appointed Gary Woodhall to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Lidington MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Northern Circuit, based at Liverpool Crown Court with effect from 15 January 2018.

Gary Woodhall, aged 42, will be known as His Honour Judge Woodhall. He was called to the Bar in 1997. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2016.
