District Judge William Jackson retires from the District Bench with effect from 18 September 2018. 

Notes to editors 

District Judge Jackson (65) was admitted as a Solicitor in 1977. He was appointed a Deputy District Judge in 1998 and a District Judge in 2003.  He was a member of the Civil Justice Council from 2012 to 2018 and appointed a Regional Costs Judge in 2016.
