District Judge Appointment: Andrew Davies

The Queen has appointed Andrew Christopher Davies to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Michael Gove MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based between the London County Court centres with effect from 9 May 2016.

Notes to editors

Andrew Christopher Davies, aged 50, will be known as District Judge Andrew Davies. He was called to the Bar (I) in 1988. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2013.
