The Queen has appointed Richard Michael Armstrong to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Kingston-upon-Thames County and Family Court with effect from 16 July 2018.

Richard Michael Armstrong, aged 48, will be known as District Judge Armstrong. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1994. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2013.
