District Judge Appointment: Beckley

The Queen has appointed John Mark Beckley to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at the Court of Protection, First Avenue House with effect from 3 April 2018.

Notes to editors

John Mark Beckley, aged 52, will be known as District Judge Beckley. He was called to the Bar (M) in 2003. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2015.
