The Queen has appointed Claire Jackson to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Michael Gove MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Wakefield Civil and Family Justice Centre with effect from 14 April 2016.

Claire Jackson, aged 39, will be known as District Judge Claire Jackson. She was called to the Bar (L) in 2002. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2013.
