District Judge Appointment: Clare Davies

The Queen has appointed Clare Davies to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Teesside Combined Court Centre with effect from 3 September 2018.

Notes to editors

Clare Davies, aged 51, will be known as District Judge Clare Davies. She was admitted as a solicitor in 1994. She was appointed as a fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Social Entitlement Chamber in 2013 and as a Deputy District Judge in 2015.
