District Judge Appointment: Cook

The Queen has appointed Sean Cook to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Elizabeth Truss MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.


The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Kingston upon-Hull Combined Court Centre with effect from 28 February 2017.

Notes to editors

Sean Cook, aged 46, will be known as District Judge Cook. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1996. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2013.
