The Queen has appointed Judith Yvonne Ellery to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Western Circuit, based at Gloucester and Cheltenham County and Family Court with effect from 12 April 2018.

Judith Yvonne Ellery, aged 55, will be known as District Judge Ellery. She was Admitted as Solicitor in 1987. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010 and as a Fee paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Social Entitlement Chamber in 2013.
