The Queen has appointed Franklin St. Clair Melville Evans to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Romford County Court with effect from 19 October 2020.
Franklin St. Clair Melville Evans, aged 65 will be known as District Judge Franklin Evans. He was called to the Bar (G) in 1981. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2002.
