District Judge Appointment: Haisley

The Queen has appointed Matthew John Haisley to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Northern Circuit, based at Wigan County and Family Court with effect from 6 August 2018.

Notes to editors

Matthew John Haisley, aged 42, will be known as District Judge Haisley. He was called to the Bar (L) in 1999. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2015.
