The Queen has appointed Janisse Hartley to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Kingston upon Thames County Court and Family Court with effect from 1 October 2018.

Janisse Hartley will be known as District Judge Hartley. She was admitted as a solicitor in 1989 and appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010.
